Electronic Fluorescent Ballasts

Make sure you purchase the correct ballast for the correct voltage! Abnormal voltage will result in damage to either the ballast or lamp or both. So its necessary that the voltage applied to ballasts be maintained within the respective limits. A ballast subjected to higher than nominal voltages will operate at increased temperatures and will have a reduced ballast life. Low voltage can cause premature lamp failures as well as unreliable lamp starting. All ballasts are designed for single frequency operation. Frequency limitations are as follows:
